Container: it is something where you can throw waste or take things like boxes 

Drippy faucet: it is a tap that is not properly closed and that is why leaks :D 

Exactly: expression of confirmation to what another person says 

Interrupting: when someone does or says something and another interrupts or stops him, interrupting what was going to be done 

Worm: animal that lives on land and water and moves by crawling 

To matter: is when you care about something or someone 

Positive: is to be positive and optimistic in some way

9. A power cut, when you're trying to do work on the computer

B. Summary 

Sometimes small things bother you but don't bother others. These things are called pet Peeves, and they can be different people. Many people are bothered by traffic. Other people don't like dirty things, like crumbs on the keyboard. Sometimes certain does bother us, such as squeaks or tapping. No matter what the pet peeve is, it's important to know about it and take steps so it doesn't bother us  



C. Think about it 

 

1. What are you pet peeves? 

A/ my pet peeves most is that people are hypocritical or false to me or others 

 

2. Do you know what some of the pet peeves of your family and friends are 

 

3. Do you get bothered more easily at certain times? if so, when? 

A/ yes, i get bothered easily when i'm stressed which is most of the time xd  

 

4. Are pet peeves bad, or does it matter more how we deal with them? 

A/ Yes, it is normal to have pet peeves but you have to know how to control them so as not to hurt or affect another person 

 

5. Can you think of anything you do that might be a pet peeve for other people? Is there anything you can do to change it? 

A/ Maybe when I am very nervous about something I talk too much and I think it is annoying, so to improve it i would have to control myself
